When Life Hits Hard
He said this… "Being challenged in life is inevitable. Being defeated is optional."
It’s Week 319 of The Friday Feature, and we’ve got a special guest… but first.
❤️ This morning, May 1, we are at the University of Kansas Medical Center. In just a little while, one of Debbie’s younger brothers (middle of three) will go into surgery to have a kidney removed and part of his liver removed because of cancer.
Five years ago, Debbie lost another brother (oldest of three) to cancer. Cancer does not discriminate. It does not care who you are. It touches all of us at some point. And the truth is, we all go through storms.
🛎️ In moments like this, you lean on faith. You lean on family. You lean on people who care.
🙏 And if you would, I’m simply asking for your prayers today. Prayers for Debbie’s brother. Prayers for strength, for healing, and for peace for the entire family.
🏈 Today, I want you to hear from a special guest. Thanks to my friend Caleb for the introduction, I asked Eliah Drinkwitz, the head football coach at the University of Missouri and a father of four daughters, a simple question. When people are going through storms, what would you tell them?
Take a look… and really listen. Because at some point, it’s all of us. And when that moment comes, we keep pushing forward.
Thanks for watching and sharing week 319 of The Friday Feature. Thank you Caleb for the introduction to coach. Thank you coach for your words of encouragement. MIZ!
Keep Pushing Forward and I will see you next Friday
